Currently I am beginning my dissertation in linguistics, which concerns interaction among undergraduate engineering majors in the Research Communications Studio. Very generally, I am investigating how participants in the RCS groups build knowledge and community through their discourse. In addition to my work in the RCS, I also serve as a communications consultant for non-native English speaking graduate and faculty members of the Virtual Test Bed group in the School of Engineering.
